I wanted to share with everyone just one instance of answered prayer that all may know that God and our Lord Jesus Christ hears and answers prayer.
At the age of 19, myself and many my age, were getting drafted for the service and being sent to Viet Nam. We were sure this was a death sentence and that was true for many. I was rejected for service because of a kidney ailment. However my one close friend was not.
He was good with dogs so he became a dog handler and was assigned as a point man for the many expeditions in battle. I must stop here and explain something I promised his mother before he left. I promised to pray for my friend each day he was in Nam.
As I began to pray each night, it was impressed on me to think about each word I was saying and not just rattle of a bunch of meaningless prayers. This being the case each time my mind started to wonder I would start over subsequently I ended up praying an average of one hour every night.
Back to the story of my friend being a point man. On his first mission while on the helicopter someone told him for his job life expectancy was about 15 minutes. Not sure if that was motivation or what? He made through his tour of duty and was coming home. When I met him he had a bullet hanging around his neck.
I asked him what that was about he explained: Once on a mission he entered into a battle and firing a special weapon he had (firing 30 rounds/second) he hit one of the enemy. Needless to say he was a little shook having to examine the soldier for papers that may be helpful later. Because He was so upset what his weapon did he did not notice another soldier behind a tree where he was standing. His dog alerted but it took him a few moments to notice. When confronting that soldier he kept firing at my friend’s head and the bullet just would not fire. After dispatching the second soldier my friend thought about the events that just happened because it was so fast.
When examining that second soldier’s weapon he noticed there was a dent in the handle where the clip goes, probably from the original gunfire, and he could not get any more bullets in the chamber. The one in the chamber would not fire and it had nine dents in the primer. You may need to ask what that means but the bullet that never fired was my answer to prayer and the bullet hanging around his neck. (9mm)
“The prayer of a righteous man avails much”! The blood of Jesus is that which makes men righteous, therefore receive it and live.

I have decided to give my opinion about issues as a believer in the sovereignty of God and His Creation, salvation and judgment through Jesus Christ. I've been watching the government trying to force faith based hospitals into doing abortions and faith based adoption services to accept gay couples although these moral issues are in opposition to their canon of beliefs to which every person is accountable in the eternal realm.
For this reason I have decided not to become a tax exempt ministry. I desire the freedom to voice the truth, as God shows it in His Word, while we still have free speech. Something none should take for granted.
Because the government is using the tax exempt status and funding as leverage against faith based services, I appeal to those who may agree with the freedom of faith and free speech ideals to help support this endeavor in prayer.
The opinions of believers do matter in this quest for a truly better government. Anyone willing search for the truth will find this country was established by great men of faith. They at times actually got on their knees in the congressional chambers to ask God for guidance; a good example for all who desire to serve.
We also ask God for guidance with your prayers. Again those deciding to help us in prayer should be in agreement with God’s Word and our use of free speech.
Thank You, The Lord bless you and keep you and may His face shine upon you.

Ephes. 6:12-18 KJV
12. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against ||spiritual wickedness in ||high places. 13. Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and ||having done all, to stand. 14. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15. And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16. Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18. Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints
